Dear Parents & Swimmers,

Although the PSI may have reached unhealthy levels over the weekend, Sport Singapore and its relevant ActiveSG sports facilities have in place a protocol to ensure the well-being of its guests, patrons and staff. All ActiveSG sports facilities will take the necessary action to adjust its operational hours and programmes to limit the ill effects from haze exposure.

Please take note of ActiveSG policy during haze:

When the PSI is below 200 - ActiveSG Sports Centres will be opened.

When the PSI is above 200 - Only air conditioned facilities, such as gyms and some indoor sports halls, will be opened.

Click https://www.haze.gov.sg/ for latest haze conditions for the 24-hour and 1-hour PSI readings by NEA.

We will be following the Sport Singapore policy and we will re-assess and adjust the lesson and training accordingly. Lesson will be on as long as the PSI is below 200.

Should your child/children not feeling well during the lesson/training, please do speak with our coaches.

Persons who are not feeling well, especially those with chronic heart or lung conditions, should seek medical attention.

Please do have your child bring water with them during the lesson so that in between should your child feel thirsty or need a drink, he/she may do so. But do inform our coaches as safety is our top priority that all students are accounted for.

Best Regards, ART Aquatics
